Happy Holidays
Another Christmas has come and gone. Since there were no presents under the tree at my house, much less a Christmas tree, I decided to go back and play with some toys that I already had. Because thats what poor atheist kids do. Vin finally got around to building some sets and taking some pictures, so my BOXPUNX SPECIAL EDITIONS page 3 is now complete!

If looks could kill
Not too long ago I was sent a lovely FALLOUT based model by Chris Coulsting that he made for himself. I told him I had started a similar model but hadn’t finished it, and if he minded if I used his design and basically combined it with my own. He agreed and I think the end result is pretty cool. This is the Vaultboy13, designed by Chris and myself.
That’s all for today. I have received the entire MARVELOUS series 2 set and am currently making a nifty promotional image. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow. Maybe PERSONA. I will get it done soon, for sure.

Here is my latest project, kept under wraps until now…16BIT LEGACY. The first iteration of the project plays itself out as four new Cubee models! I have been wanting to do some more “straight-up” representations of characters, and Chris’ models were perfect for what I had in mind. Enjoy!
First up is BONK, the Turbographx16 loveable caveman mascot. He started in a fun series of platformers, appearing not only on the TG16, but the SNES and GameBoy as well.
Second we have AIR ZONK, a modernized version of Bonk, who appeared in a colorful series of shooters.
Bomberman is everywhere.

Now that I have gotten a little work done, I can go play Persona 4. Yay!

Estaban’s MARVELOUS series 2 is coming along very nicely! Check out these new preview pics, with THE THING! ORANGE! Wait until you see the rest, they are awesome! Speaking of DIY, I decided to make holiday wrapping instead of a holiday model. So here is the first (of hopefully a cool series…hehe) packaging design I have come up with. The tongue works as a nifty little latch to hold the box together, I am rather proud of the overall design. Simple, and fits many of the existing glueless models, even some of the ones with masks, wings, or hair attachments. I spent almost all day today printing these out and assembling them so I now have a bag full of awesome christmas gifts. Blind box style. Give the gift of BOXPUNX today! Print, Cut, Build, Go! PCBG!
This was sent to me by puto jorge, El Chavo! I had to look this guy up, but it seems he is the main character of a long running sketch comedy show in Mexico, existing from 1971 till 1992. El Chavo came back in his own cartoon in 2006.
Ok, perhaps that is enough for today. Gotta save some cool stuff for tomorrow, otherwise it will be another boring tuesday…do I even plan on posting tomorrow? Who knows, we will just have to wait and see. If I do, expect nice things.
