Pop songs your new boyfriend’s too stupid to know about

But before I go, let’s take a song break, but what? Earlier my friend Vin made a comment about Twee. Personally I think a lot of the music that one might include in this category has some very interesting and pretty guitar sounds. And if I owned a sweater or a knit scarf I might wear it. If the weather called for it. Here are a couple of different bands that might be considered Twee as F#%K or whatever, that I find interesting.
First this is Pants Yell! with “Public Gardens”. It starts simple but goes thru various changes and it has a pretty yet odd groove. I think it is cool.
I really like this band, their music calms the burning rage I sometimes feel after having seen a particularly traumatic commercial. This is The Besties with the only video I could find, other than a couple poor live ones, they call it “Prison Song”. Check out the music on their myspace page, it’s great.
Is Tullycraft considered Twee? I have no idea, I am no expert. But here’s “Georgette Plays a Goth”. Cool animated video ahead!
